REDRED is an evening-length dance-theater piece that deconstructs and reinterprets the story of Ruby Bridges, whose parents heeded the NAACP’s call for children to desegregate elementary schools in the South. Choreographed by Afua Hall and performed by Afua Hall and Elana Lanczi, with set design by Larry Miller, including a doll installation by T. Eliott Mansa, multimedia design by Dinorah de Jesús Rodriguez, music by A.J. Hill and costumes by Megan Swick and Asha Darbeau.
